Discipline Rules and Regulations for Students in Annual Function

The student must observe and strictly follow the disciplinary rules and regulations of the Institute

1. Students enrolled at Community College must recognize their responsibilities towards the
faculty, office staff and fellow students. Failure to maintain appropriate standards of conduct
will attract disciplinary action.
2. Ragging and Eve Teasing are considered as crime and strictly prohibited by an act promulgated
by the Government of Puducherry with the penalty of Rs.10,000/- and two years’
imprisonment. If any student indulges in any form of ragging or Eve-Teasing inside the College
premises or outside, he/she will be summarily expelled from the College.
3. Students are expected to use only courteous and polite language and behave with decorum with
the faculty members and the staff of the College.
4. Students shall avoid using any insulting, inciting, threatening language when talking with fellow
students and should abstain themselves from violence.
5. Gathering in groups at classrooms , entrance, exit and Floors is strictly prohibited during the
Function.
6. Spitting, smoking and throwing bits of paper inside the college campus is prohibited.
7. Students are prohibited from damaging the building or any other property of the College in any
way. The cost of any damage so caused will be recovered from the students collectively if the
responsibility for it cannot be fixed on any individual or group of individuals.
8. Each student of this College must possess Student Identity Card with his/her photograph affixed
on it, duly attested by the Principal. The students must compulsorily wear the Student Identity
Card inside the College Campus during Function. If he/she not wear Identity Card we Shall not
enter them into College Campus.
9. Students should not involve themselves either directly or indirectly in any form of politics either
inside or outside the College during Function. If a student fails to comply with this regulation,
strict disciplinary action will be initiated against the student which may even result in the
rustication of the student from the College.
10. Any case of criminal activity or violation of law and order in the College Campus will be reported
to the police.
11. Student should be attentive, fair and cooperative to your teachers and Student Council
Members on Annual Function. Student should believe in loving, sharing and caring with
everyone.
12. The students should switch off or silent their mobile phones while during in Annual Function. as
per notification.
 Duties and Guidelines to council members and support function
Needs to be present on event day (Mandatory)
In case of any unauthorized activity identified then need to inform the management immediately.
Need to be present before 1 hour of event starting time.
Need to verify the student identity in case of unrecognized person.

Rules and Regulations of Event

No participant can point out any individual or religion in any way, and any dual meaning obscene
content is strictly not allowed.

I-Card/Identity proof is Compulsory during the competition.

Ragging in any form is strictly forbidden by law.

Students are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner that befits the image and
standing of the institution.

The student should note that he/she is answerable to the authorities of the institute not only for
his/her conduct in the premises of the institute but also for his/her overall behavior outside the
campus. It is an extremely serious offence to endanger the safety of other members of the College
by tampering with fire-fighting equipment or the alarm system.

The student should help in maintaining the buildings and the campus of the institute clean and tidy
and maintain overall ambience.

Students should park their vehicles only in the specified area.

Students should not participate in any political and antisocial activities. Strict disciplinary action shall
be taken against such students.

Student must abide by the rules and regulations framed by the institute from time to time.

Specific sets of regulations covering particular areas of the College may be posted from time to time
by the Dean, after being approved by the College Management Committee, and must be respected.

For misbehavior of any nature, the student will be liable to severe punishment up-to rustication.
