ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

OFFICE WORKS
 Preparing instructional reading material that will help the learners to learn.
 Helping learners to recognize analytical phonics.
 Introduced the letter sound m, a, s.
 Read Aloud sessions not only develop a love for reading but also good listening habits, helping
learners grow in many ways using Marungko Approach.
 Allowing the leaners to find the missing syllable of its word.
 Introduced the consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) word and asses them in reading.
 Paired Reading allows struggling readers to still participate in the practice of reading without
embarrassment.

 Assisted learners in their reading problem through one-on-one tutoring.

OTHER TASKS

 Help the entire school community in establishing good relationship with the learners, parents,
and the community as a whole.
 Upholding integrity and ethical standards.

OFFICE WORKS
 Grouped each pupil to their level of reading readiness in order to monitor and record their
progress
 Instill excellent values in my pupils before we begin our reading session to motivate and
encourage them to read.
 Through the Marungko Approach, non readders began to understand fundamental phonics
sounds, allowing them to sound out of letters and blend it to form a simple word.
 For pupils who can read but are slow, they expand their vocabulary and employ new words and
its meaning.
 Giving one-on-one assistance to children who need it, ensuring no one is left behind, particularly
non-readers.
 Giving pupils easy reading phrases and short paragraphs in Filipino to practice reading in their
spare time at home.

OTHER TASKS

 Helping the school in maintaining the cleanliness to promote a healthy and hygienic
environment.

• Lesson Planning:
Designing and preparing reading lessons and activities tailored to students' needs and abilities. This includes
creating lesson plans, gathering necessary materials, and aligning lessons with curriculum standards.
• Assessment and Grading:
Administering assessments to evaluate students' reading skills and comprehension. This could involve creating
and grading quizzes, tests, and other forms of assessment. Teachers often keep detailed records of student
performance.
• Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of students' progress, assessments, and attendance.
• Data Analysis:
Analyzing assessment data to identify students' strengths and areas that need improvement.
Reading teachers play a vital role in shaping students' literacy skills, which are fundamental to their overall
academic success. By fulfilling these responsibilities, reading teachers contribute significantly to students' growth
as readers and learners.

Office Work:

* I have 32 students who are enrolled in a reading program, with 19 students attending in
the morning and 13 students attending in the afternoon.
*Conducted phonetics and proper pronunciation of letters and words.
* Teaching students two letters per day and having them blend these letters together, this
method allows students to learn and practice blending sounds and forming simple words.
* Word Building
* Word Recognition: Once students can blend the sounds to read the words I focus on
recognition. I let them show the written words and have them read aloud.
* I also give them some activities especially during Wednesday and Friday for them to be
more attentive in reading class.
* I also conduct one on one reading sometimes.
* In my afternoon class I focus on cvc words, simple sentences and short stories.

• Read aloud session to enhance accurate pronunciation of each word as well as listening skills.

 Give special attention to individuals who are making slow reading progress and place them
in front so they can concentrate on our lesson.
