Throughout the production, Abi will be directing and producing. Once

filming is over she will be head editor. The main reason that she has so
many roles is because for this project, all work has to be her own
completed work. She will also be the interviewer asking the questions
during the interviews.

I will be using this camera to capture all my footage for my
documentary, I will use it for both my interviews and B-roll. Both
the cameras I used had a 35mm lens to make sure both my angles

are consistent. I need to make sure when filming that all of my
camera settings are the same so there's not much change between
N shots.

I am using a camera mounted mic on both my cameras as a

backup if my LAV mic doesn't work. As well as my cameras, I


am going to use the same microphone on each camera to

keep everything consistent.

Lav Microphone
I am using a Lav mic to capture all sound from my
interviewees. It will clip onto an item of their clothing as

close to them as possible.

Zoom Recorder
This will be attached to the Lav Mic to capture all the sound that
the microphone does. I will have the interviewee have this in their
pocket and hide it out of shot.

I am also using a wireless mic to capture all sound from my

interviewees. It will clip onto an item of their clothing as close to
them as possible. This wireless mic will work better for presenting

as I won’t need to think about distance and how busy the area is.
Also, not having to fiddle with too many wires.

Tripod X2
I will use these to put my cameras on when filming. They will

Nkeep my angles stable which will make it easier for me when
editing. They also help me to get different levels of shots to
make it more interesting for the audience.

Soft Box
The soft box will be used as my main light source. I will use this

over another light as I feel like it wont be as harsh and intense on


the interviewee. One thing I will need to learn is how to assemble
it quite hard.

Light Bounce
I will use this on the other side of the interviewers face to make a
contrast. It will also help me block out any harsh natural light that
may be on the interviewees. This will be really helpful when I am

in a room that is small and difficult to create shadows.
