The VESSEL shall be equipped, in accordance with the Specifications with

1. Bottom - 10 mm
2. Inner shell - 10 mm (upper and lower)&8 mm (centre)

7. Hatch Coaming height - 1300 mm above Deck

-Tank Top flat bars (rubbing Strip) of 100 x 10 mm flat bar on each longitudinal (i.e.21 nos.)

Toilet spaces.
- Engine Room shall be provided with natiral ventilation.

(k) Deck Machinery and Equipment for each barge :

Anchors - 2 nos forward Anchors of 1050 kgs. stock less Bower type of suitable weight as per
requirement.

Anchor Chain for each barge - Stud link of suitable size total of 6 lengths

Anchor Windlass for each barge - 1 no Engine Driven (16 BHP ) Comet
Engine.

(l) Pipings and Valves for each barge :

All SW and Fresh water piping mild steel galvanised ERW C Class except Fuel oil , hydraulic oil and
Lube Oil which black Carbon steel SCH 40.

All Ship Side valves made of Gun Metal and all other Valves shall be of Cast Iron and Gun Metal. .

(m) Electricals for each barge - System of supply – 24 VDC for Alarms ,
lighting , Main Engine Starting and
Navigation lights

(n) Communications for each barge - Provided as per rule


requirements.

(o) Navigation - Provided as per rule


requirements.

(p) LSA and FFA for each barge - Provided as per rule
requirements.

(q) Accomodation for each barge -

Main deck - 1 no 4 Crew Cabin.


1 no Driver’s Cabin.
1 no Master’s Cabin.
1 no Common Toilet .
2 nos 2 Crew Cabins
1 no Galley.
1 no Mess Room .
1 no Store room.

Partition , Ceiling - Partitions made of Mild Steel with


Paneling and ceiling of marine plywood
boards 6 mm thick.

(r) Painting Scheme for each barge :

Painting scheme as follows.


1) Sand blasting of all outside and exposed areas ( excluding Cargo Hold ) during construction.

2) Double bottom , Wing tanks , and all inside tanks scraped ,wire brushed and painted.

3) Painting of outside and other exposed areas two coats of epoxy primerand two coats coaltar
epoxy finishing

4) Painting of double bottom , Wing tanks and all inside Tanks with two coats of red lead Primer.

(s) 220 V Supply provided in cabins and wheel house with sockets and fans.
