Topic: What makes art universal and timeless?

 Art is the reflection and expression of the Human condition. Our
dreams, passions, struggles and joys can be expressed, realized
and/or purged through Art. The same thoughts and emotions that
people gelt thousand of years ago, continue to be felt today.
 Art is the vision of individual artist. We see memories and
biographies from any time for a similar reason.
Universal = not localized or exclusive to any particular culture, region,
or country
Timeless = has a creative sense to it that can have a lasting impact on
anyone, irrespective of their age.

What makes art universal?

- Art is the reflection of people and their social context. It also
unifies difference and brings awareness.
What makes art timeless?
- Art gives meaning to our live and helps us understand our
world.
- When art is so good and unique at the same time which cannot
easily affected by change in society

Sculptures: Spoliarium Reimagine by Julie Iluch

“Voice of protest against the injustices, the oppression, particularly on
the war on drugs”
It is a dead body dragged away by a rope by a masked man with a gun.
This sculpture is appropriated to Juan Luna’s concept of state brutality to
recreate a scenario that is repeated many thousand time over in the
streets and alleys among the poor across the country.
