Technical Drawing - Midterm Exam – 2024

1. Design the top view of a two-storey duplex house of 80 - 160 square meters (15P). Show the lamp or
lampshade placement in different colors (10p). Design all doors, windows and stairs in top view in
accordance with the drawing rules (10P). Dimensions which has different colours is importent
parameters for evaluation (5P). (80 Min.)

2. Model the logo of the software or electrical - electronics company you plan to establish in the future,
taking into account the front view (20P). (30 Min)

3. Design the front view and top view of any white goods by taking into account the relevant
measurement rules (30P). (40 Min.)

4. Complete the missing homeworks assignments and send them to our class representative students.
There is an one week for homeworks. There are two students representatives each in the morning and
afternoon groups. (20P)

(Total Score 110P)

Important Directives:

 Only the desired appearances (Top, Front and Right Views) should be given in the exam. An isometric or solid model is not
essential.

 When scoring designs, industrial design and eye-pleasing level will affect the scoring by 60%.

 Your name and school number must be written clearly in the PDF and files you send after the exam.

 Either solid or autocad programs can be used for designs.

 There is a time limit in the system. During this time, prepare screenshots as PDF. You can use the Word program for this process.

 Exam autocad or solid works program files can be sent to representatives within 1 week after the exam.
