Application
Spray Equipment
Can be applied using conventional, HVLP, or air assist airless. Must have 1.2-1.4 mm fluid nozzle on conventional
or HVLP spray gun and an 9-11 thousandth fluid tip for air assist airless system.

For fluid delivery, use 45-60 psi pressure for suction or gravity fed conventional and HVLP. Using pressure pot or
pneumatic pump, fluid pressure is dependent on the size of the pot and length of the fluid hose. Always
determine fluid rate of 300-400 ml/min.

Mix Ratio:
High Gloss: 1 Part of Base to 1 Part of Catalyst, 670C6878
Semi-Gloss: 2 Part of Base to 1 Part of Catalyst, 670CS7033,
to 1 Part Reducer, SB67
Low Gloss: 2 Part of Base to 1 Part of Catalyst, 670CL7036

Reducer SB67 low VOC reducer

The Stats
Pot Life: 4 Hours in sealed container at 25º C

Storage Store in a cool dry place below 80º F.

Hardness Pencil Hardness H minimum.

Lubricating Oil Resistance Withstands immersion in lubricating oil at 25º C for 14 days without showing
any softening, blistering, or loss of adhesion.

Hydraulic Fluid Resistance Withstands immersion in Skydrol hydraulic fluid without showing any defects
for 30 days.

Salt Spray Resistance With a scribed film at an angle of 6º, it exhibits no blistering, lifting of the
coating system, or substrate corrosion after exposure to 5% salt spray
following ASTM B117 on treated primed with Proteus TM and StarpoxyTM
primers aluminum substrate 3,000 hours.
