The SAA local team continued surface cleaning of the southeastern part of the
excavation area. The intention is to remove the soil until the graves are visible on the
surface.

Trench B17 & C18: - Today, the team continuing removing the soil from the eastern side
of the B17 trench. Meanwhile, the second team started digging in the second layer of
trench C18. These trenches were again extended 2 meters in length and 5 meters in
width towards the east. Excavations of earlier days have partially exposed the tomb CE.
This tomb is located in Trench B17. Excavation has started here to expose the rest of the
tomb. This layer was mixed with sandy soil. The soil was removed to a depth of 70 cm.

local ceramic fragments were found in this area.

All exposed graves were protected with cement bricks around them to avoid unusual
human activities.
