Encryption of Removable Drive

Open KSC in Windows Server

Select Policies from console tab and open KES for Windows policy in Windows Server
Policy is open go in data encryption option

select encryption of removable drive

Click Add button select removable drive select encryption mode select portable mode
click ok

Select encrypt all files portable mode, select last check box, then apply ok.
Policy enforced on managed devices by KSC in windows server

Go in Virtual Machine Windows 10 and connect usb that you have encrypted and you will
pop up on the machine when you connect the usb and click encrypt all files
Portable mode password set to decrypt files and view in portable view. Password set
Check logs and started and finished log is generated

Now connect usb outside of virtual machine in your host machine and when you acces any
files it cant be open and encryted.

Click pmv.exe – kaspersky portable viewer – enter password you set up in the encryption
click ok.
You’ll able to access files from here.
