“The Effects of Online Game: A Study to prevent Online Game Addiction”

INTRODUCTION
This conceptual paper main aim is to propose a study to investigate the effects of Internet gaming on
people's mental health and well-being, with a particular focus on identifying strategies to prevent and
reduce Internet gaming addiction. By examining the underlying mechanisms and correlates of excessive
gaming behavior, this study aims to inform the development of evidence-based interventions and policies
to promote responsible gaming practices and protect individuals from the harmful consequences of online
gaming.

PURPOSE
The purpose of this study is to know the effects of online game and to prevent online game addiction to
the students.

DESCRIPTION
The project will ask the students in Gateway Integrated School to make them use the website to learn the
effects of online game and to prevent online game addiction.

Topics to be included in the upcoming website will be:

- Effects of online games
- Pros and Cons of online games
- How to prevent online game addiction

There will be no estimated budget needed as this project will be free for everyone. However, I will be
needing a helper for the website creation.
