Math

Learning Objective- Students will be able to solve learning problems using the past lessons we
did and answer all 5 of the questions with 100% accuracy.
Students will be solving word problems with a short quiz, this will have 5 story problems
which they will be expected to solve all of them correctly because at this point they have had lots
of practice
Rationale- By solving the story problems it shows that they are able to read the problem and
identify the operation and also figure out the numbers they should be using and the order.

Since there are 5 questions the scoring will be out of 5.

The correct operation must be done, either addition or subtraction, depending on what the
problem is saying
Using the correct numbers from the problem and putting them in the correct order to solve.
Then they all will be solved correctly
There will be no differentiated scoring guide because after practicing I can see that every student
is capable of solving these problems.

Regarding the students whom I have been observing,

Student 1- I believe that they are able to solve these problems using the same rubric as everyone
else. They may not be confident in their ability but after seeing them work I can see they are
capable. There is no time limit so they can take their time

Student 2- This student has the ability to complete work and will be able to complete this
assessment with the same rubric. Again it is not timed so they can take their time and if they are
getting of track they have the time to get back and complete it.
