Thank you Don for your helpful information.

And just like she said, we do have

some solutions to the weaknesses of Ecotourism. My name is Gia Nguyen, and I
am here to tell you about them.
 As it can at least solve most of the problems mentioned above: government
being willing to “place environmental conservation ahead of economic
profit” should be the most important solution. Even though it may affect
revenue generated in the short-run, but “degradation of the natural
environment” will cause reduction in visitors as the once beautiful and
delicate destination has been destroyed and “the natural environment on
which ecotourism depends will be less attractive”.
 By imposing stricter regulations, the negative effects on biodiversity would
be greatly eliminated. Proper enforcement rules should also be imparted in
the form of signals for tourists to become aware of their surroundings. For
those who don’t follow, fines and punishments are the best choices for them.
 It is also advisable for travelers to take non-stop flights to use less fuel and
have fewer effects on the environment. Where possible, you should walk,
trek or hike while on foot, or use public transport instead of renting cars.

Because the local people have better knowledge about their own areas and cultures,
governments need to provide them with opportunities to take part in the ET
industry by training and employing native tour guides ( as they could give more
detailed and correct information). Local people should also consider using their
houses as homestay for tourists to come and experience a night at somewhere not a
luxurious hotel, but a regular place. (They have chances to gain better
understandings of the lives of people in rural area as well as meet new friends. Not
only that, it can help governments save money for building facilities)
