Animal Anatomy and Physiology is the scientific study of the life supporting
properties, functions and processes of animals or their parts. It is an experimental
scientific discipline and is of central importance in medicine and related health
sciences. It provides a thorough understanding of normal body function, enabling
more effective treatment of abnormal or disease state.
Anatomy (Structure) deals with the different parts of animal body, such as ; cells,
tissues, bone and muscles. Physiology (Function) covers the different systems that
are at work in animal body, such as digestive loco motor, urinary, and reproductive
systems.
