OBJECT PRONOUNS

Object pronouns are used to replace nouns or names


that are the object of a sentence, meaning they receive
the action of the verb.

me (used when referring to oneself)

you (used when referring to the person


being addressed)

him (used when referring to a male third


person)

her (used when referring to a female


third person)

her (used when referring to a female third person)

it (used when referring to non-human things or


animals)

us (used when referring to a group that includes the


speaker)

them (used when referring to a group that does not


include the speaker)

When using object pronouns, it's
important to pay attention to the subject
of the sentence. Object pronouns can
only be used when the subject is not the
noun or name being replaced. For
example:

I saw him. (correct) Him saw I. (incorrect)

Another important thing to keep in
mind is the order of object pronouns in a
sentence. In English, the order of object
pronouns is usually:
me, you, him, her, it, us, them

They give it to me and They give her and me it.
