Materials

II. LEARNING
PROCEDURES
A. Pre-activities
1. Prayer
2. Checking
of
Attendance

3. Review The teacher will ask the following questions.

* What is an electric motor?
*What are the basic principles of an electric motor?
*How do electric motor works?
*What are the different parts of an electric motor?

4. Motivation Do know what is the difference between electric motor from electric
generator?
Have you ever wondered how the motorcycle engine works? And,
How water generates electricity?
B. Activity Activity 1: Spot the difference.
The teacher will present 2 different pictures and the students will analyze
it and spot the differences based on its features.

C. Analysis Based on the activity given, the teacher will ask the following questions.
* What are the pictures all about?
* What are the differences that you noticed between the two
illustrations?
* Which of the two illustrations is an example of electric motor and
generator?

D. Abstraction
What is an electric motor?
What is an electric generator?
What are the differences between the two?
What are the examples of energy transformation of electric motor and
generator?
State the application of electric motors?

E. Application Group Activity:What can we do!

The class will be divided into three groups. Each group will be given
separate task. Group 1 will compose a poem or a song explaining the
comparison of electric motor from generator. Group 2 will draw an
example of electric motor and generator. Group 3 will demonstrate how
electric motor and generator works through a role play.
