Subject: Refund of fund lying unutilized in the LF/Bank Account till 30.11.2023.

Sir,
Finance Deptt. order Vide No. 1039(F/Y) dated 28.02.2024 is enclosed herewith for his/her ready
reference and strict adherence. All funds transferred to LF Account/Bank Account, as mentioned in
the enclosed order, on or before 31.03.2023 which has not been utilised till 27.02.2024 should be
refunded to the appropriate Govt. Account by 15.03.2024 for Head of Account. He/ She may
refereed to FD Memo no. 867-FD dated 20.09.20217 and 3724-F- dated 10.05.2007 for identifying
the proper Head of Account in which the refund is to be deposited.

In this connection he/she is specially requested to take necessary action to refund the amount, if
any, within 10.03.2024 and furnish a report to the prescribed format (Annexure - A) within
15.03.2024.
