Clinicals 4

On my last rotation I got to work in oncology but sadly and ironically they stopped being
just oncology that day I got there. They had transferred to ICU and oncology (i think it was
ICU, it was something with really sick people like that). There was a guy there with a liver
shutting down and he was sort of yellow in the beginning of the day and by the end of the
day he was super super yellow and thankfully they took him to surgery. My CNA was nice,
she reminded me of my friends mom. She let me take most the vitals but she still did the
blood sugars. Which sort of stunk because I love doing blood sugars. We had this really
nice older lady and her daughter who was also older and she liked to talk to us. Today was
the slowest day of clinicals so far. I took vitals, we washed one person, we got lots of water
cups, and I helped clean 2 pads contraption briefs. I forgot I did get to change sheets
because one lady peed a lot in her bed. Overall it was a good last day of clincials.
