Observations: -
• The vibration levels collected on motor bearings are high and critical zone.
• Bearing inner race fault frequency and its harmonics were observed on the motor bearings.
• Raised noise floor observed in the high range spectrum, indicating bearing wear.
• Abnormal sound was observed from the motor DE bearing during data collection.

Suggested Action Plans: -

• Check the bearing lubrication system for choking and replace it if necessary.
• Check the motor shaft for run out and ensure precision alignment between motor and Voith coupling.
• Inspect the motor shaft voltage for unbalance and the grouting devices for flaws.
