NARRATIVE REPORT IN MID-YEAR INSETWith reference toDepEd Order No.34,
s.2022titled “School Calendar and Activities for the School Year 2022-2023”, the Midyear In-
Service Training is scheduled on February 6-10, 2023 to continually develop, and enhance the
competency of teaching and non-teaching personnel.In line with this, BagongPook Elementary
School actively responded by setting the INSET with the topic Search for Ways of Enriching
Knowledge and Restructuring Instruction Through Veracity of Engagement on SBM. It was
scheduled on the date mentioned above.Ms. Mellany E. Cabatian, Kinder Teacher was the
moderator of this training Program. The program started on February 06, 2023, at exactly
8:00 am. It started with the Makabayan song followed by the prayer via audio-visual
presentation.Dr. Gelyn L. Jonson, our school principal welcomed us withthe
quotation“Teamwork makes the dream work” andTeamworkgives you the best opportunity to
turn vision into reality”.This is a famous quotation from John Maxwell. This is to remind
us that working in a group will build relationships and can lead to better outcomes. An
inspirational message was delivered by Mrs. Maribel S. Madrigal, our Master Teacher. The
Checking of attendance was initiated by Ms. Maila C. Comia, Teacher I and Grade 6 Adviser.The
documenter is Ms. Vina D. Austria, Teacher I and Grade 5 Adviser.On the first day,Ms. Ruchelle
H. Lagrisola, Teacher I was the second presenter to explain Leadership and Governance.She
comprehensively discussed the development Plan developed collaboratively by the
stakeholders of the school and community. And make the school be organized by a clear
structure and work arrangements that promote shared leadership and governance and
define the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders. Mrs. Juanita A. Lainez, Teacher III
knowledgeablydiscussed Curriculum and Instruction.She explained the curriculum that
provides for the development needs of all types of learners in the community. She also
listed the needed documents for the implementing curriculum to be localized and make it
more meaningful to the learners and applicable to life in the community. Developed
materials and methods for developing creative thinking and problem-solving was also
explained thoroughly.

Mrs. Erlinda M. Lubay, Teacher III was done to explain Accountability and Management
which focuses on a clear, transparent, inclusive,and responsive accountability system in
place. She also emphasizes the development collaboratively by community
stakeholders, which monitors expected and actual performance, addresses gaps in real-
time, and provides a forum for feedback and redress.Community stakeholders clearly define
and agree on the roles and responsibilities of accountable individuals and collective bodies.
Goal achievement is recognized based on a collaboratively developed performance
accountability system; gaps are addressed through appropriate action. The community-owned
accountability system is constantly improved to ensure that management structures and
mechanisms are responsive to the community's emerging learning needs and demands.The
fourth speaker is Mrs. Ma. Cristie L. Capagaswho discusses Management and Resources.
She explained that resources are collectively and judiciously mobilized and managed with
transparency, effectiveness,and efficiency, and learning managers, learning facilitators, and
community stakeholders collaborate on a regular resource inventory as the foundation for
resource allocation and mobilization.An open forum was done to make the session more
understandable.It was followed by the closing program. Awarding of certificates to presenters
to acknowledge their expertise and to the participants. The INSET ended achieving its
