INTERVAL 1 YEARLY
PRECAUTIONS

1. Obtain an approved Work Permit before commencing maintenance activities. 

PREPARATION/ISOLATION
2. Check that the equipment tags are as detailed on work order sheet/work permit.  
Note: Only qualified persons are authorised to perform this procedure.

MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY
3. Check the Combiner Unit for any sign of damage, excessive heat etc. 
4. Check the operation of the Transmitter and Transmitter Combiner Unit. 
5. Check the Combiner Insertion Loss (dB), Standing Wave Ratio (SWR) and Combiner Isolation.
(Refer to Ericsson MRS5000 Maintenance Manual). 
6. Report any abnormalities to Maintenance Supervisor. 
7. Sign off the Work Permit. 
