Details and Timelines

Step 1: Functional Heads to Identify the Business Problems:

Leadership team individually or jointly to identify 10-12 critical business


problems/process gaps/silos that require cross-functional collaboration or a unique
approach. These challenges should have a direct impact on AACSL MoS. The problem
statement/project topic is to be submitted to CEO & Facilitator (HC).

|Timelines: 22nd to 27th June 2023.

Step 3: Formation of Cross-functional Teams & Governing Council:

Along with business Problems/Projects, the Functional Heads also nominate names of
individual team members from various functions who can contribute and add value. The
nominated team member must be above Grade E5, and a project team leader will also
be identified by governing body post-formation of CFTs.

Formation of Governing Body: The CEO to constitute a Governing body from LT members
to supervise and mentor the CFTs.

Step 4: Assign projects/Business cases to relevant CFT: Each CFT is to go through


a detailed context and expectation setting to clearly define the goals, objectives, and
expected business results of the project. This is to ensure that everyone on the team
understands the purpose and scope of the project. | Owner: Governing Council and

Step 5: Communication of the Project Across the Company

The organization will be informed about the project, its importance, and the expected
outcomes.

Step 6: Governing Council to have Regular Progress Updates and Checkpoints

The Governing Body would set up a system for regular progress updates and
checkpoints. Each CFT would hold its own internal meetings and present its progress,
and challenges, and seek suggestions from the Governing Council. | Facilitator (HC) to
schedule these meetings.

Once the CFTs have developed potential solutions, the following steps have to be
followed:

a. Solution Refinement: Governing council helps CFTs refine the proposed solutions.

b. Presentation Preparation: Governing council; provides guidance and support in


structuring effective solution presentations. This is to ensure that the problem, analysis,
and proposed solutions are clearly communicated.

c. Experts Committee: CEO & Governing Body to identify leaders, Business heads, and
Subject matter experts (Internal/External) who have the authority and expertise to
review and evaluate the proposed solutions.

Step 7: Solution Presentation: A Full day out-of-office


event to be organized where respective CFTs present their
findings, analysis, and proposed solutions to the expert
committee. | 21st July 2023 (tentative)

Step 8: Decision-Making and Implementation: Based on feedback and evaluation


from the Expert Committee, CFTs to proceed with execution/Implementation.

Step 9: Implementation: CFTs to create a detailed action plan that includes clear
roles, responsibilities, and timelines for executing the chosen solutions.
