Being a global citizen is now a worldwide necessity, a dream, and an achievement everybody

targets. Global citizenship describes individuals who have a huge understanding and are aware
of the wider world so they play an important role in taking action in a variety of fields. These
people can have different skin colors, persons and come from many parts of the Earth, but they
all want to bring their contribution to the whole world. From my perspective, there is no
barrier between humans joining hands to make the world more positive, even languages or
religions, it is just that a lot of people are still not ready for new things, and changes in today’s
society. Global citizens are different, they connect with others, and share noble ideas not only
to assist in improving their countries but also their big home – the world. Integrating global
citizens gives humans opportunities to study, and to work in an international environment.
Although global citizens integrate, they do not dissolve. On the one hand, it is considered a
significant thing that these individuals absorb human civilization and knowledge, however,
they still value their homeland’s unique characteristics, and national identity in culture. In my
opinion, being a global citizen not only brings people together, it also boosts countries’
relationships. When integrated, people can have a better chance than ever to develop
themselves, and get valuable knowledge in a wide range of areas. On the other hand, there are
still many people who just want to keep the traditional, cultural features intact and criticize
other ones. These people should be put in criticism. As students, we should not just focus on
studying things in books, but also be open to learning from individuals in other territories,
integrating and absorbing other cultural features to enhance our social knowledge, enrich our
lives, and expand our relationships. However, remembering to not dissolve is also important.
