My life

Hello! I'm MARY ROSE VINLUAN, I was born into a broken family. My parents
were constantly fighting and arguing and my mother left us for another man who
already had a family of his own. I was only five years old at the time but I could
already feel the pain and sadness that comes with feeling abandoned. My father did
his best to raise my sister and me on his own but he had to work long hours just to
make ends meet. My sister and I had to learn to be self-sufficient at a young age. We
would cook our own meals, do our laundry, and clean the house while our father was
at work.

But as I got older, I also realized that I wanted more for myself and my family. I
knew that education was the key to a better life and so even though I was still in high
school I started working part-time to help support my family. It wasn't easy juggling
school and work but I knew I had to do it if I wanted to make a better future for
myself. I would wake up early in the morning to go to school. I never had much free
time but I never complained because I knew it was for a good cause.

We all tried to keep a positive outlook on life and focus on our studies. We knew
that education was our ticket to a better future. It was also a way to escape our
current situation. Even though I have achieved a lot in my life, I still look back on my
childhood with a lot of pain and sadness. Growing up in a broken family and as a
working student was never easy, but it has taught me a lot about strength and
perseverance. While it wasn't easy growing up the way we did, it made us stronger
and more resilient. We knew the value of hard work and the importance of family.
We may have come from a broken home, but we didn't let it define us.

I am grateful for all the challenges I have faced as they have helped me become
the person I am today. Looking back, I realized that my mother leaving us was a
blessing in disguise. It taught me to be strong, independent, and self-sufficient at a
young age. And it also showed me the importance of education, hard work, and
perseverance. Today, I am grateful for everything I have, and I know that my family is
proud of me. I may have come from a broken family, but I used that experience as
motivation to create a better life for myself and my loved ones.
