This is Blaze and Bella reporting live from
camp at Kellogg Community College!
KCC is a college by our school.
We’ve come here with our class on field trips.
Have you ever been to KCC?
Camp started this morning in
a real college classroom. The
teacher told us there are lots
of ways to tell a story. One
way is by drawing pictures.

“These are great!” the teacher said.
“Let’s tell stories about other camps at KCC!”
There are camps for all
ages at KCC,
teachers,
ambulance
drivers,
business owners
and more!
Even pilots!
Bella’s favorite camp is the cake decorating camp. Kids learn
how to decorate cakes, and even get to bring one home!
Looks delicious!
“Make sure and take lots of pictures,”
our camp teacher says. “Maybe we can
put them on our website!”
I like the video game camps. Campers
learn how to make real video games
they can play at home!
What’s your favorite video game?
There are lots of sports camps. The teachers are real
college athletes who play college sports at KCC!
Nice swing Bella!
Do you think they’ll catch it?
Campers in the
gym play basketball
and volleyball.
Outside they
play soccer.
In camp we learned to tell stories with words as well as pictures.
Here’s a poem I wrote about bowling camp!
BOWLING CAMP
Roll the ball!
Get a strike!
You think you can?
I think you might!
RUNNING CAMP
Run, run, run!
Fun, fun, fun!
Getting tired?
You can do it!
Run with me!
There's nothing to it!
