The biography of singer Johnny originates in Azerbaijan, in the beautiful city of
Baku. It was there that on February 29, 1996, a second son was born into the
Huseynli family, who was named Jahid. And when the boy was four years old, his
parents moved to Moscow. Jahid fell in love with music since childhood, since his
large family with numerous relatives was very musical, and not a single holiday was
complete without songs. His uncle was a popular musician in Baku in the 80s, but
no one else received an education in this area - everyone sang for pleasure, from the
heart. Little Jahid also loved to sing. He also really liked watching the cartoon about
Johnny Bravo, whom the boy wanted to be like. As a joke, my mother even began
calling him by the name of the main character, not realizing that this particular
nickname would soon become much more common than the name given at
birth. Despite his son’s desire to study music, his father was categorically against
his entering a music school. He himself loved to sing, but at the same time he
believed that a real man should earn money by doing business and dreamed that his
sons would continue his work. When Jahid turned 6 years old, it was decided to send
him to school. But here an obstacle arose, since the boy practically did not know the
Russian language. The director of the gymnasium agreed to enroll the future artist
on the condition that he fill the gaps in knowledge within three months. It was then
that the little man showed all his best qualities: perseverance, hard work and
perseverance, not only learning to speak, read and write perfectly in Russian, but
also at the same time teaching new Moscow friends Azerbaijani. And to his
schoolmates, who found it difficult to remember his real name, he began to introduce
himself as Johnny. In the first grade, the boy immediately enrolled in the choir,
whose director was delighted with the talent of the young talent. And already at the
age of 14 he firmly decided that he wanted to devote his life to music, but his father
was still adamant. Only my mother supported my son. Jahid continued to attend
choir classes, while not forgetting about his core subjects. He studied well, and after
the ninth grade he graduated from the next two years as an external student. And he
immediately entered the State University of Management, as his father wanted, and
then entered the master’s program. During his student years, Johnny continued to
sing, participating with friends in various competitions and concerts.

Each Johnny song is a touching love story, and therefore it is no wonder that fans
want to know all the details of the performer’s personal life. However, the guy is in
no hurry to commit himself to a serious relationship, citing his enormous
busyness. After all, right now, being at the peak of his popularity, he plunged
headlong into creativity. And since any relationship is work, it also takes
time. Despite his popularity, the singer remains rather shy in amorous matters and
only came up to meet someone a couple of times in his life. At the same time, he
claims that he understands people very well and at first glance can understand what
exactly a girl wants and how sincere her feelings are. And if he suddenly gets

After finishing his master's degree, the future singer came to work with his
father. But while working in business, he continued to be creative: he recorded cover
versions of famous songs and posted them on social networks. Over time, the young
man realized that most of all in life he wanted to do what he loved and asked his
father to give him a chance to try his hand at it. Instagram played a huge role in
Johnny’s fate, where he presented his singles to the public. It was there that he was
noticed by the producer of the Raava music label, with whom the young performer
signed a contract. Thanks to this, the beloved compositions “Пустой стакан”,
“Френдзона”, “Аллеи”, “Без тебя я не я”, etc. were born.

To frequent questions about what inspires a musician to create new compositions,

he always answers: music and love. His songs are stories from people's lives. Each
of them is about a feeling that was in the past, is in the present, or is present in
dreams. The artist sincerely believes that the main thing in creativity is the soul, and
if the first chords of a melody do not evoke any emotions, he immediately redoes
everything. At the same time, first the guy creates music, and then the words, which
must certainly merge in a harmonious tandem. Now music takes up all of Jahid's
time. But just recently, the guy enjoyed learning new activities: he and his friend
practiced acrobatics, learned to perform magic tricks and draw by watching videos
on You Tube. He also often played football and was interested in computer games
and parkour. Today, in rare moments of rest, the singer likes to just sit in silence,
listening to his thoughts, or wander around the center of Moscow with headphones
on, watching people. And often “pictures” from life, noticed under such
circumstances, become the basis for new songs. Johnny also loves to eat delicious
food, considering his mother’s dishes to be the pinnacle of culinary art, who for him
still remains his main critic, support and support.

Johnny graduated from ninth grade at educational institution No. 1925 in

Novokosino (Moscow region), and the young man graduated from another 2 grades
as an external student. When he was 16 years old, the future artist entered the State
University. He was to study at the Faculty of International Business.

Despite his good academic results, the guy did not feel particularly drawn to his
future profession. He often took part in various university events, during which the
participants had to sing and dance.

When his studies at the university were behind him, he got a job with his father.
However, this did not stop him from singing songs and performing on stage at the
same time. His first compositions were highly appreciated by listeners.

In addition, the young man liked to record covers of foreign hits and publish them
on the Internet. And in the end, Joni realized that it was time to take music seriously.

JONY wrote the song “Аллея” in just 20 minutes. According to the musician,
inspiration suddenly came to him one night: he picked up a melody, contacted his
sound producer, showed him the sketches, and that same night the hit was ready for
release.

While music did not bring JONY any income, he had to live on his own savings. In
addition, his father helped the musician financially from time to time.

In addition to JONY, the creative association “Raava Music” includes Elman, Gafur
and Andro.

According to Joni, after graduating from university he could have simply stayed to
work for his father, but it was an easy path that did not satisfy the musician’s
ambitions.

In 2020, the album “Небесные розы” held first place in the top 10 albums on Apple
Music for more than a week.
JONY is a winner of the Heat Music Awards 2020 and OK! Awards" in the
categories "Жара Music Awards 2020" and "Новые лица. Музыка".

At the beginning of 2021, the artist plans to give a number of performances in

Russian cities. The first concerts are planned in Kirov, Yoshkar-Ola and Saransk.

JONY greatly respects the work of the American artist “XXXTentacion” and is often
inspired by his works.

The artist writes the lyrics for most of his songs independently, without resorting to
the services of songwriters.

The guy spends his free time from creativity with friends. He likes to go to a bar or
club, smoke hookah, and play football in the yard. Joni can't stand Moscow winters.
