Neonate 7 - 20 days: 30mg/kg 8 hourly[may be increased up to 60mg/kg 8 hourly in

severe infections]

" 21 - 28 days: 30mg/kg 6 hourly[may be increased up to 60mg/kg 6 hourly in

severe infections]

Child: 25mg/kg 6 hourly(max. per dose 500mg) [ may be increased up to 50mg/kg 6

hourly in severe infections]

 IV Phenobarbitone- Neonate to 11 years: 20mg/kg initially, then 2.5 - 5mg/kg 1-2 times daily.

Child 12-17 years: 20 mg/kg initially(max. per dose 1 g), then 300 mg twice daily

 IV Adrenaline- Neonate 1 - 28 days: 10 micrograms/kg[1 in 10,000 (100 micrograms/mL)] every

3–5 minutes.

Child(1month- 17yrs): 10 micrograms/kg[1 in 10,000 (100 micrograms/mL)] every 3–5

minutes (max. per dose 1 mg)

 Injection Diazepam-0.5mg/kg rectal 0.3mg/kg IV
