Case of Fatima Mustapha, 32yrs of Damboa road Maiduguri and her 4 children

Facts:
The husband abandon the children and his where about not known. His relatives
refused to assist in maintenance of the children.
He has a house opposite CBN quarters but the tenant refused to pay them the rent and
claimed needs owner's consent.

Efforts made:
We had a meeting on 6/3/2024 around 3:00pm with the mother, Director Child and
Hadiza of naptip at the MWASD.

I went to the house and had a discussion with the tenant and he agreed not to pay to
another person without our knowledge and will be ready to pay but at least court order
should be secured.

I spoke with neighbors and few people who know him to help in reaching out to him.

I spoke with the district head Alhaji Abba Bukar who is a member of this noble
committee to help in stoping any effort to sale the house in case that happens.

Next step:
In case we didn't get the father upto next month, I will institute an action in the court of
law to secure an order of the court to allow the payment of the rent to the guardian for
the maintenance of the children.
