About Webinar
US Environmental Protection Agency defines environmental
sustainability as “meeting today’s needs without compromising the
ability of the future generations to meet their needs”. Achieving
sustainability will continue to make human life on earth possible.
Today the world is facing several environmental challenges like
climate change, pollution, soil erosion, and loss of biodiversity. The
sustainable management of the environment and natural resources is
vital for economic growth and human wellbeing. However, human
activities affect the environment adversely. The webinar aims to
address these issues by creating awareness among people , especially
students who are the major stakeholders of the future environment.
