Note: Having a bit of variation between the plates looks good and gives the model more character. Large plates: Plates 5+6: 6x6

In step 1: Not folding the second diagonal line makes further steps slightly harder, but the final plates look better. Bone 6: 7x7 Plates 7+8: 8x8
In step 5: Folding the sides not to the exact middle but leaving some space will make the end result wider for a different look. Bone 7: 8x8
