ideal values?
Analysis:
Class, as an aspiring future teacher we
must have the ideal set of values. We must be
a model citizen, so that our students will
remember us in a positive way. We must leave
a mark on our students which motivates them
through kindness and professionalism in our
field.
Very good!
E. ABSTRACTION
This afternoon, our topic is all about Max
Scheler Hierarchy of Values and Values
Clarification.
Yes Juan!
F. GENRALIZATION
Again class, Max Scheler proposed that
values itself has a hierarchy. It has four varying
levels. The lowest level are pleasure values,
which correspond to bodily wants to satisfy
pleasurable aspects of our life. Second, we
have the vital values which are values needed
in the survival or well-being of the body. In
short, these are the things that we need. The
third level has this thing called Spiritual
Values. These values are free of any bodily
influence, meaning they are abstract concepts
like freedom and justice. Lastly, we have the
highest form of value called the values of the
holy. These are religious values pertaining to
intentional and absolutes values. It is about
being selfless to the highest level. Most of the
people don’t reach this value level. Some
examples of the people who reach it is Jesus,
Mahatma Ganhi and San Lorenzo
G. APPLICATION
Now class, I want to know if you really
understand our lesson for today. Let’s have an
