you'll find many people and inventions that had failed in some way because they were simply ahead

Ormond Beach, Florida), American politician, the first African American woman to be elected to the
U.S. Congress. Describing her as a martyr or someone who made direct achievements. Chisholm
became the first African American woman to make a bid to be president of the United States when
she ran for the Democratic nomination in 1972. As a black person, I am no stranger to race prejudice.
Later that year, she married former New York State Assemblyman Arthur Hardwick, Jr. Shirley
Chisholm is advocating this speech to the House of Representatives hoping for a change in policy.
