Introduction
How is playing an online FPS games like eating rocky road ice cream?

Because at first you are chillin’ with chocolate and marshmallow and then BAM! Nuts in your
mouth.

On this essay, I will try to compare 2 First Person Shooter games (FPS), and that are Call of Duty
Modern warfare 2019 versus Battlefield 2042.

Comparative

Firstly, I’m going to discuss about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019. that Is a 2019 first-person
shooter game developed by infinity ward and published by Activision. Serving as the sixteenth
overall installment in the call of duty series, as well as a reboot of the modern warfare sub-
series, it was released on October 25, 2019, for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, and Xbox
One. The game takes place in a realistic and modern setting. The campaign follows a CIA officer
and British SAS forces as they team up with rebels from fictional country Urzikstan, combating
together against Russian Forces who have invaded the country and the terrorist group Al Qatala.
The game’s special ops mode features cooperative play mission that follow the campaign. The
multiplayer mode supports cross-platform multiplayer and cross-platform progression for the
first time in the series. It has been reworked for gameplay to be more tactical and introduces
new features, such as realism mode that removes HUD as well as a the ground war mode that
support 64 players.

Secondly, I will discuss about Battlefield 2042. Battlefield 2042 is a first –person shooter game
developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is the twelfth main installment in the
battlefield series and was released on November 19, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, Playstation4
and 5, Xbox one , and Xbox series X/S. unlike COD Modern Warfare 2019, Battlefield 2042 is
solely multiplayer and does not have a single player campaign. It is also features support for
cross-platform play, a first in the series Battlefield 2042 received mixed reviews from critics and
a negative reception by the players for its technical issues, lack of features ,and certain changes
to gameplay. The game failed to meet the sales expectations of Electronic Arts.

conclusion

Even though Modern Warfare 2019 was released 2 years before Battlefield 2042, but Mw2019
have better graphic and physics on the gameplay instead of battlefield 2042 which is full of bugs
and the gameplay itself doesn’t look smooth as MW2019.
