Day 1: Luke 1, John 1:1-14 Luke 1
- John the Baptist is introduced as the spirit of the Messiah.
- Zechariah and Elizabeth gave birth to John.
- Gabriel appears to Zechariah and Elizabeth
- After 6 months later, Gabriel appears again for Mary from
Nazareth
- Mary visits Elizabeth to be blessed.

John 1:1-14
- The beginning was the word, and the world was with god
- We see his glory, full of grace and truth

Day 2: Matthew 1 Luke 2:1-38 Matthew 1


- Focused on the Genealogy of Jesus
- Jesus’s ancestors returned to Judah and remained there until
an angel brought news of Jesus’ birth for Joseph and Mary.

Luke 2:1-38
- Joseph went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea,
to Bethlehem the town of David
- Because he belonged to the house and line of David.

Day 3: Matthew 2 Luke 2:39-52 Matthew 2


- Jesus Christ is greater and more powerful than Herod.
- Endured a long journey from Persia to Bethlehem to meet
Jesus, the King.
- Risked their lives for the sake of Jesus.

Luke 2:39-52
- Scripture is only a record of an event in Jesus' life
- Mary and Joseph lose track of Jesus

By reading I noticed that Jesus was always being together for all the
parts of the stories, which shows how much Jesus is significant to
them. For example, for Mattew, we learn that we should put Jesus first
in our life. Jesus is full of fulfillment, and he’s full of glory, grace, and
truth.
