Television personality Jeremy Clarkson has dismissed claims he is endorsing a digital

form of payment with a former colleague.

Mr Clarkson publicly posted on social media to put the record straight after claims he and former
Top Gear presenter James May are involved with the currency.

James May was also rumoured to be involved with cryptocurrency alongside Jeremy Clarkson

He said: "To be clear. James May and I are not endorsing any kind of cryptocurrency.

"I don’t even know what cryptocurrency is.

"But it sounds ghastly."

It comes as PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has sent a letter to Mr Clarkson
urging him to "stop telling porky pies about how bacon, ham, and sausages are really made".
