• Working 50 kW standalone PV plant is handover to society originated at Village: Boorthal, Bassi Jaipur as a
final deliverable to the society.
• All technical prototypes are tested with Microlab box and TMS320F28379D by generating desired PWM
pulses
• Implemented buffer battery for the reference generation of plant.
Investigations on Various Unidirectional/Bi-directional Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging/Discharging Configurations for Green
Electric Transportation
Funded By: Department of Science and Technology, India
• Project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India and submitted to funding agency with
“Rated/Graded as: Very Good”.
• Conducted research in the field of electrical engineering, focusing on investigations on various unidirectional/bi-
directional Electric Vehicle (EV) charging/discharging configurations for green electric transportation.
• Designed and implemented experimental setups for data collection and analysis, considering PCB layout, signal integrity,
performance optimization, and EV charging/discharging systems.
• Collaborated with research team members on publishing research papers and presenting findings at conferences.
• Designed and developed a cost effective and wide adoptable high switching frequency gate driver circuit to operate
MOSFET and other FET devices of up to 2200uf with a range of 765 kHz frequency in laboratory suitable for SiC and
GaN MOSFET devices.
o Designed gate driver circuits capable of delivering high voltage, high current, and fast switching characteristics.
o Incorporated isolation techniques, such as optocouplers and transformers, to ensure electrical safety and protect
control circuitry from high voltage transients.
o Optimized gate driver performance through simulation and modeling, analyzing switching losses, and waveform
quality, and addressing ringing and overshoot issues.
o Built prototypes and conducted extensive testing to verify performance, efficiency, and reliability under various
operating conditions.
• Designed and developed (in-house) printed circuit board using sprint layout and PCB express for the proposed dc/dc
converters as per CISPR, IEC and AIS standard of EMI-EMC compliances.
• Designed and developed a 350-750 W bidirectional dc-dc converter with a wide range soft-switching operation
supplying 15A of charging current to 24-48 Volts battery system.
