Universal Concrete Products Ltd. Co. (Unimix) LLC, widely known as is

Dubai’s leading ready-mix concrete company built on a strong legacy of quality, customer

of modern Dubai with well over 40 million cubic meters of top -quality concrete produced
to date and towards the advancement of readymix concrete technology. It has kept pace

MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE
Named as the most beautiful building on earth, The Museum of the Future is an exhibition space
for innovative and futuristic ideologies, services, and products. Located in the Financial District
of Dubai, UAE, the Museum of the Future has three main elements: green hill, building, and void.
Founded by the Dubai Future Foundation.
Unimix solely supplied over 30,000m 3 concrete mixes which achieved LEED Platinum rating.

ETIHAD RAIL
UAE’s national railway network, running approximately 1,200km across UAE from the border of
Saudi Arabia to the border of Oman. The railway will serve as transportation means to businesses
allowing for more use of time, resources and productivity.
Unimix has installed a site batching plant at Fujairah dedicated to supplying concrete for Package
2D - Sharjah to Fujairah Emirates with an approximate quantity of more than 300,000m 3.

DUBAI UPTOWN TOWER
Uptown Tower is one of Uptown Dubai’s two super tall towers that anchor the ten million sq ft
development. It contains 188 luxury hotel rooms and suites, high -end restaurants, health spas,
conference facilities, grade A offices, and 229 uniquely designed branded residences. The super-
tall is a LEED Gold Certified Building and home to a state-of-the-art DMCC Business Hub. During
the tower's construction, over 23,000 trucks delivered approximately 140,000 cubic metres of
concrete, with around 30,000 tonnes of steel used for reinforcement from Unimix.

THE ROYAL ATLANTIS
In a joint venture between Six Construct and Ssangyong, this mega project is set to be completed
at the end of 2019. The Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences is a mixed-use hotel and residential
two-tower complex that will rise to a height of 182 meters.
Unimix, as the sole concrete supplier, has dedicated a site batching plant for the project to satisfy
its concreting demand of approximately 241,000m 3.

ICD BROOKFIELD
This 54-storey office tower, locate in Dubai International Financial Centre district is slated
for completion by the end of 2018. The tower will feature three sky view suites with
several terraces and an open garden offering view of the Burj Khalifa.
The main contract to build ICD Brookfield Place has been awarded to a joint venture
between Multiplex and South Korea’s Ssangyong Engineering and Construction with
Unimix being the sole supplier of more than 100,000 cubic metre high performance
concrete.

ONE ZA’ABEEL
The project's scope of work consists of two towers (commercial and residential) located
at Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai linked by a suspended bridge. The towers comprising 67
and 57 stories high, respectively, constructed atop a retail podium.
Unimix is currently supplying over 70,000m 3 of high performance concrete mixes for this
project slated for completion by 2020.

DEIRA WATERFRONT DEVELOPMENT
The project's scope of work consists of mixed-use towers (more than 100,000m 3 concrete
quantity) with a common basement level located at Al Corniche, Deira Waterfront
Development, Dubai. The project scope of work includes construction of four towers
comprising Tower A will have 10 floors, Tower B will have 14 floors and Tower C will have
15 floors and Tower D which is a hotel will have 16 floors.

BVLGARI RESORTS & HOTEL
Bulgari Resort Hotel & Marina Village is located off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Road and will
feature a distinguished 5-star mixed-use development, sculpted in the shape of a titanic seahorse
featuring retail, residential, hospitality and entertainment zo nes.
Unimix had supplied over 25,000m 3 of high-performance concrete mixes on this project.

JEWEL OF THE CREEK
It is Dubai’s most unassuming construction site, nestled as it is between Al Maktoum Bridge and
the Floating Bridge. Jewel of the creek includes completion of Civil, Architecture and MEP for
part of the four existing basements as well as construction of six buildings comprising:
• A1.0 Building: A 5-star Hotel G+17 floors

• A2.0 Building: Serviced Apartments G+15 floors
• F3.0 Building: Ballroom and Conference venue G-2
Unimix supplied over 45,000m 3 of high-performance concrete mixes on this project.

DUBAI SAFARI
The safari that covers 119 hectares of the total area is aimed at establishing the best centre for
wildlife in the world, providing a variety of environments appropriate to different animals.
The safari will use modern interactive methods in control and movement to ensure the distinctive
and unique experience for visitors. The project comes in the old landfill area of Dubai.
Unimix has developed and supplied Special and Value-Added Products as one of the
requirements for this project. It has supplied more than 85,000m 3 of durable and special concrete.

KITE PARK
Located steps from Jumeirah’s main street, you’ll find high quality watersports equipment
available along the sand, with kitesurfing, wakeboarding and stand-up paddle boarding gear all
ready to go. Head down in the afternoon, as this is when the wind picks up and presents some
better conditions.
Special and Value-Added Products has been supplied on this project.

INFINITY TOWER
The Cayan Tower, known as Infinity Tower in Dubai Marina is a 306-meter (1004 ft), 80-story
skyscraper that stands out among the more creative buildings across the Emirates with a new
twist to architecture. Upon its opening in 2013, the tower has become the world's tallest twisted
tower with a twist of 90 degrees creating the shape of a helix and making the tower unique in its
own right.
Unimix had supplied over 80,000m 3 of high performance concrete mixes on this project.

BURJ KHALIFA
828m (2,716f t) high. Currently the world’s tallest building and the world’s tallest man -made
structure. Unimix was the sole supplier for the entire project.
The production, supply and placing of the concrete was an engineering marvel as the project
itself. Concrete was pumped to a record height of 622 meters using single stage pump.

the 124th floor.
• The building was rotated 120

degrees to allow for less stress
from the prevailing winds.
• The foundation piles are 150 ft.

In April 2008, a new world record height of 606m for pumping concrete was set on the Burj Dubai
(now Burj Khalifa) Tower in Dubai. Unimix is looking at the high pressure peristaltic or piston
pump technology behind this level of performance and the contribution that it can make to the
latest generation of high-rise building projects.

BURJ AL ARAB
Soaring 321 meters high, the Burj Al Arab is one of the world’s finest hotels. This unique sail-
shaped building standing proudly on a man-made island some 280 meters offshore is often
referred to as the world’s closest thing to a 7-star hotel.

JUMEIRAH BEACH HOTEL
Inspired by the Arabian seafaring tradition, the hotel is shaped like a huge breaking wave. From
the sail shaped canopies to extensive boardwalks and shimmering facades, its design, both
exterior and interior, is truly beguiling, a stunning example of modern Arabic architecture.
The hotel is over 300 meters in length and 100 meters in Height. At 50 m2 in area, the rooms
exceed international standards and are bigger than those found in most international hotels.
Over 30,000 m3 of high-performance concrete mixes were supplied for this project.

THE EMIRATES TOWERS
At the time of completion, the towers were the tallest buildings in the Middle East and Europe.
The construction was completed on April 15, 2000. This is the second-tallest completed all-hotel
building in the world at 309 m (54 storeys), surpassed only by the Burj Al Arab. It is a 400 Deluxe
Room and Suite Five Star Hotel. The Upper Atrium is 111 m tall.
The Emirates Office Tower was completed in November 1999. The absolute “official” height is
precisely 354.6 meters (56 storeys).
Constructed with over 170,000 m3 of high-performance, high-strength concrete mixes of 75 MPa

and above were used in slip form operations.
Single-stage pumping of concrete up to 260 m at Emirates Hotel Tower & up to 300 m at Emirates
Office Tower.

the skyline of the region. The projects include high-rise buildings, commercial and residential

IMS POLICY STATEMENT

Unimix aims to be the leading concrete solutions provider committed to providing concrete and services that
consistently meet the needs and expectations of our customers, interested parties and the applicable
statutory and regulatory requirements and other requirements, if any, whilst endeavoring to protect the
environment, occupational health and safety of our employees, visitors and all others who may be affected
directly, or indirectly, by our activities. In particular, we shall:
• seek to establish, maintain and continually improve an Integrated Management System (IMS)
addressing the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
• seek to ensure compliance with current and future environmental, social responsibility, and
occupational health and safety legislation as applicable, relating to our operation, and any other
initiatives or requirements to which the company may subscribe
• commit to liaise with all relevant external bodies and work with our own staff to continually improve
our quality, environmental, occupational health and safety performance, prevent accidents and cases
of work-related ill health, and maintain safe and healthy working conditions
• identify and seek to eliminate hazards and reduce significant environmental aspects, occupational
health and safety risks, and prevent any pollution which may arise from our processes, operations
and work activities
• provide appropriate quality, environmental, occupational health and safety information and training
for our employees, building on competencies and encouraging them to apply good practice, both at
work and at home
• provide and maintain safe plant, premises and equipment and minimise, re-use and recycle materials
wherever practicable
• discuss quality, environmental, occupational health and safety issues regular ly at the highest levels
of the company, consulting and communicating, where appropriate, with our employees on all issues
affecting them
• liaise with vendors and customers to facilitate the best possible products, service, safety and
environmental practices and to promote recycling
• ensure consultation and participation of workers
This policy provides the framework and commitment of the Top Management as the basis of establishing and
reviewing the objectives at all relevant functions and concerns of all interested parties periodically to identify
opportunities for improving its effectiveness and enhancing customer satisfaction.
This policy is promoted and implemented within the company through its documented Integrated
Management System and training of our staff for implementation.
