0 = tan-1 ( y  x) = tan-1 ( 4  3) = 53.130

Thus, the Point P can be represented as P (x, y) = P (3, 4) in
Rectangular i.e. Cartesian coordinates. OR
as P (r, 0 ) = P ( 5, 53.130) in Polar coordinate system.
To get Rec from Pol …X = 5 cos 53.130 and Y = 5 sin 53.130
This is nothing but Rec  Pol OR Pol  Rec conversion.

Numerical Example 1 - Find the resultant Force R if …..
F1 = 40 N, F2 = 80 N, F3 = 60 N and F4 = 30 N
and the respective angles are ……
