Task #2:
1. Write simple activity plans where you can demonstrate the strategies for
large groups.
Materials:
Paper plates (1 per child)
Construction paper (various colors)
Scissors
Glue sticks
Markers or crayons
Procedures:
Introduction (5 minutes):
The teacher will gather the children in a circle and introduce the
activity.
The teacher will show examples of paper plate animals to inspire their
creativity.
The teacher will discuss different animals and their characteristics.

Preparation (5 minutes):
The teacher will distribute one paper plate, construction paper,
scissors, and glue sticks to each child.
The teacher will encourage the children to choose an animal they
would like to create.
Design and Decoration (15 minutes):
The teacher will instruct the children to outline their chosen animal on
the paper plate using a pencil or pen.
The teacher will assist the children in cutting out the shapes they need
from construction paper to create the animal's features (e.g., ears,
snout, and tail).
The teacher will encourage them to decorate the paper plate and
the cut-out shapes using markers or crayons.
Assembly (10 minutes):
The teacher will guide the children in gluing the cut-out shapes onto
the paper plate to create their desired animal.
The teacher will assist the children in positioning the features correctly
and securely attaching them with glue.
Sharing and Reflection (5 minutes):
The teacher will provide an opportunity for the children to share their
paper plate animals with the group.
The teacher will encourage them to talk about the characteristics of
their chosen animals and why they chose them.
The teacher will discuss the different animals created and their
unique features.
Clean-up (5 minutes):
The teacher will instruct the children to clean up their work areas and
return any unused materials.
The teacher will collect the finished paper plate animals for display or
to send home with the children.
