Situations hypotheticals:
a) For example if a KID is feeling SICK, what your gonna do? ENFERMO
The first thing I would do is ask to the kid where is he feeling sick or what hurt, what part of his body.
Depending the answer of the kid and also if I see that is something really serius, I call to 911 and then to
 the parents, if is something that it´s not so bad what I would do is call the parenst to ask what to do, if he
need to rest or go to the doctor.
b) Imagine that you are at the PARK with the host kids and he is playing and then he FELL DOWN
on the ground and he starts BLEEDING… what you gonna do? CAE Y SANGRA
First thing I would do is calm the kid and cover the wound, if is serious first I call the 911, then call the
parents so they knowed what is happend. If I see that it is not serious, that is a scratch I call the parents
and tell hem what happend and ask what to do, If is necesary take the kid to the doctor.
c) Imagine that you are at house with you host kids you go to the kitchen and you see that there
is FIRE IN THE HOUSE, what would you do? FUEGO EN CASA

The first thing I would do is take the kids out of the house, when I see they are safe and is not in
dangerous I call the 911, then I call the parents an tell hem whats happened.

d) Imagine that you are also at the house and then your host KID FELL DOWN from the STAIRS,
what would you do then? CAE ESCALERAS

The first thing I would do is check that is okay, that the kid is conscious, if I see that is something
serious that he is not aswer me I call fast to the 911. If the kid is okay but he has something broke I
call to 911 and try to calm him down. If he is okay and is just a scratch I call the parents and tell hem
what happend and ask if I should take the kid to the doctor. I would always call the parents after
911-

e) How would you comfort my toddler if the KID was UPSET? NIÑO TRISTE

First I would try to talk to him so that he would tell me what he feels, if he is angry or sad that he tell
me the reason, so he can vent, then I could help him. Then I would try to calm him down and talk to
him about something else so that he feel better.

f) Can you tell me step by step what could you do to take the baby and the boy inside the car?

The first a would do is inside of the house put the baby in his seat and then take the hand of the
other kid go out to the car, then put the baby side me, open the door and get inside the kid and put
his seat belt. When the kid is ready then I put the baby inside.

g) What would you do if you are DRIVING and the host KIDS OPEN the SEAT BELT? CINTURON
If this happen, I look a safe place to stop the car and make the kids put on again the seat belt,
making him understand that it is necessary for be safe. After the boy has listened to me I
continue the trip.
