Instructions for Exploring Online Collaborative Whiteboard Platforms

Groupings: Same 7 groups


Submission: March 27, today, 12 noon
Google Drive: The contact person of the class will have to create a google drive folder for all
the recordings.

In this activity, you'll have the opportunity to explore and familiarize yourself with an online
collaborative whiteboard platform of your choice: Google Jamboard, Miro, or MURAL. Follow
the instructions below to get started:

1. Platform Selection:
- Choose one of the following platforms: Google Jamboard, Miro, or MURAL.

2. Accessing the Platform:


- Use your web browser to navigate to the chosen platform's website.
- Sign up for an account if required, or log in if you already have an account.

3. Getting Started:
- Once logged in, take some time to explore the platform's interface and navigation.
- Look for tutorials, guides, or help documentation provided by the platform to learn about
its features and functionalities.

4. Exploration Activities:
Note: Video and screen record your exploration of and brainstorming as you navigate the
platform. The recording should last for 10-15 minutes only.

Experiment with the platform's various tools and features. Here are some suggested
activities:
- Create a new board and add diYerent elements such as sticky notes, text boxes, or
shapes.
- Try out the drawing tools to sketch diagrams or illustrations.
- Explore collaboration features by sharing your board with a classmate or friend and
inviting them to contribute.
- Check out available templates or frameworks and customize them for diYerent
purposes, such as brainstorming or project planning.
- If available, experiment with integrations or third-party tools to enhance the platform's
capabilities.

5. Reflect and Share:


- Share your experiences, insights, and features you discover during your exploration.
- Reflect on the usability, features, and potential applications of the platform for
collaborative work or projects.

6. Additional Resources:
- If you encounter any challenges or have questions during your exploration, refer back to
the platform's tutorials or documentation for assistance.
