Factors Affecting Students Academic Performance: A Case Study of Sohar University

The aim of this study determinant and exploring the factors that effect on students’
academic performance in Sohar University (SU), Oman and can be used as a mode for
all the higher educational institutions globally to improving the inputs of all
stakeholders; students, teachers, and parents. The survey was conducted among the
various faculties of (SU) through questionnaire, the primary data were collected from
562 and critical analysis was carried out using regression analyzed. The study finding
the environment factors significantly affected on students’ performance because they
preferred appropriate and quiet university environment than otherwise. Also, the
students perceived that teachers who have teaching skills and using a variety of
teaching techniques can have a more positive effect on their performance.

hưởng đến kết quả học tập của sinh viên tại Đại học Sohar (SU), Oman và có thể được
sử dụng như một phương thức cho tất cả các cơ sở giáo dục đại học trên toàn cầu để
cải thiện đầu vào của tất cả các bên liên quan; học sinh, giáo viên và phụ huynh. Cuộc
khảo sát được thực hiện giữa các khoa khác nhau của (SU) thông qua bảng câu hỏi, dữ
liệu chính được thu thập từ 562 và phân tích quan trọng được thực hiện bằng cách sử
dụng phân tích hồi quy. Nghiên cứu phát hiện ra các yếu tố môi trường ảnh hưởng
đáng kể đến kết quả học tập của sinh viên vì họ thích môi trường đại học thích hợp và
yên tĩnh hơn so với các yếu tố khác. Ngoài ra, sinh viên cũng nhận thấy rằng giáo viên
có kỹ năng giảng dạy và sử dụng nhiều kỹ thuật giảng dạy khác nhau có thể có tác
động tích cực hơn đến kết quả hoạt động của họ
