development of a platform that changes the way artists and recruiters connect.

Frustrated with the artist talent market, many skilled individuals like Ananya face a
constant struggle. The interviewee emphasizes the importance of direct access to
recruiters as a pivotal feature for the platform. She highlight the burden of hefty
commission charges imposed by intermediary platforms, stressing the necessity of
eliminating these fees.
What are the biggest challenges you encounter when looking for work?
One of the biggest challenges I face is the fragmented nature of the industry. With
portfolios scattered across various platforms, it's time-consuming and inefficient for
recruiters to find and evaluate talent. Additionally, without access to comprehensive
analytics on hiring patterns, it's challenging to gauge where the opportunities lie and
tailor my approach accordingly. And also the fees , it's discouraging to put so much
effort into a project and then have a big chunk of the payment taken away.

What kind of features would you like to see in a platform that connects artists
and recruiters? Is there anything else you think could improve the artist
experience?
Well, for starters, lower or even eliminated commissions would be fantastic! Direct
communication with recruiters would also be a game-changer. Being able to have a
conversation, negotiate rates, and build relationships is crucial. Additionally, having a
central platform to showcase my entire portfolio would be a huge time-saver.
Apart from this Data Insights would be amazing! Knowing hiring trends and
understanding what recruiters are looking for in specific fields would be incredibly
valuable. Security is important too. Knowing my data and finances are safe is
essential when working online.
