Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today Jesus tells us to Stay awake for you know neither the day nor the hour. Family crises are just like this. They cant be put on our calendar like an appointment.they just happen. We must be ready and responsive to family members in need. By responding promptly with faith and hope God will provide wisdom and strength. (Insert graphic 1106-0086)
362 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. Your willingness to choose an assigned hour is a precious expression of your faith that Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is welcomed, loved, and adored by you. Don't be afraid to take a fixed hour for fear that there may be times that you can't make it. We have a substitute system to take care of emergencies. Just think of the words from Scripture: "You have nothing whatsoever to fear from Him. Get up. He is calling you!" Mark 10:49 Please contact Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926 if you are willing, and able, to become a member of the Holy Hour Program. Dont be afraid! (Insert Graphic 2404-0106.tif)

HELP FOR OUR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS HB 136 - We as Catholic citizens are concerned that each community maintains sound and high quality public school for all youth. At the same time, we hold firm to the right to maintain and operate faith-based schools, which prepare our youth with spiritual and moral values that will benefit sound citizenship. HB 136 is legislation which is beneficial for Catholic schools and students because: It creates ways for parents tax dollars to follow the education of their children, regardless of whether they attend public or chartered nonpublic schools; It reaches out to working poor and lower-middle income families; It provides Catholic school families to be phased into the program if their families meet the bills household income levels It complements Ohios other school-choice programs. Go to http://www.ohiocatholicconf.org/l/Legcontact/Legislatorsweb2011.htm to identify the contact information of the legislators to encourage them to pass this important legislation.

PRE-PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE

Chris Silva of Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home will be the guest of Saint Augustine on Wednesday, November 16 at 6:30pm in the school cafeteria. Mr. Silva will talk about options available when planning funerals as well as options regarding funeral liturgies. Stewardship Corner: If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day,

and one of you says to them, Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well, but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:15-17
