Deepa Mani
Deputy Dean,
Executive Education and Digital Learning
Professor of Information Systems

Professor Deepa Mani is a faculty in the Information Systems area, and Research Fellow
at the Indian School of Business. She was the Executive Director of the Srini Raju Centre
for Technology and The Networked Economy at ISB. Deepa’s research interests are at the
intersection of technology, organisation, and society. She is interested in studying the
organization of IT and IT-enabled business functions in firms, and assessment of the
business value of a broad class of IT decisions and interventions. Her research articles
have been published in leading academic journals and extensively featured in refereed
conference proceedings, edited book chapters, and popular media outlets. Deepa works
closely with industry to drive innovation and strategies for the digital economy. She also
works closely with the central and state governments to explore the impact of technology
interventions in areas such as education, healthcare and urbanization.

Vallabh Sambamurthy
Albert O. Nicholas Dean of the Wisconsin School of Business

Vallabh (Samba) Sambamurthy is the Albert O. Nicholas Dean of the Wisconsin School of
Business. Recognized as an impactful administrator, attentive leader, and preeminent
scholar in the areas of innovation and digital strategy, Dr. Sambamurthy brings extensive
experience to the dean position. Prior to his current role, Dr. Sambamurthy served as Eli
Broad Professor and associate dean of the MBA and professional master’s programs at
the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He previously served as the
school’s associate dean for outreach and engagement and chair of the accounting
department, leading the launch of the top-10 MS program in business analytics. He
previously held faculty appointments at the University of Maryland and Florida State
University.
Subodha Kumar
Paul R. Anderson Professor of Statistics,
Operations, and Data Science, Fox School of Business and
Management

Professor Subodha Kumar is the Paul R. Anderson Distinguished Chair Professor of


Statistics, Operations, and Data Science and the Founding Director of the Center for
Business Analytics and Disruptive Technologies at Temple University’s Fox School of
Business. He has a secondary appointment in Information Systems. He also serves as the
Concentration Director for Ph.D. Program in Operations and Supply Chain Management.

Prof. Kumar has been awarded a Changjiang Scholars Chair Professorship by the China’s
Ministry of Education. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Indian School of Business
(ISB), and he previously served on the faculty of University of Washington and Texas A&M
University.

Kannan Srikanth
Associate Professor of Strategy,
Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University.

Professor Srikanth’s research investigates how to design organisations and


inter-organisational relationships to be more effective and more innovative. He has studied
mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, outsourcing and offshoring relationships and
global product development. He regularly consults and teaches with companies across
Asia, Europe and North America. He has received several awards for his contribution to
management knowledge, including the Lee Kwan Yew Fellow at Singapore Management
University (2016), and the ISB Research Fellow at the Indian School of Business
(2012-2014), nominations for the best paper award at the Academy of Management, and
the best case award from EFMD. He earned a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the
Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, a master’s degree in Management Science
and Engineering from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Strategic and International
Management from the London Business School.
Nandu Nandkishore
Adjunct Professor (Practice), Marketing

Professor Nandkishore Doreswamy has been a Global C suite Executive with over 34
years of global experience in Leadership roles across a diverse set of environments in
both emerging and developed markets, including as Executive Board Director for
NESTLÉ in Asia, Oceania & Africa and as Global CEO for Nestlé Nutrition in charge of
markets all over the world including US, Europe & Latam. Presently he is working as an
Adjunct Professor (Practice) at Indian School of Business and also as a guest lecturer at
London Business School London, UK. Previously he had worked as a Professor of
Practice at ISB.
