This is the introduction part of your capstone project. Put all the four (4)

criteria in making a good introduction. Use citation, if needed. But it is better to write

your own ideas based on the topic. Just use citation to support the ideas. The section

name, Introduction, is centred, bold-styled, and 3-single-space away to the

manuscript ID and this paragraph.

Always use indent and spacing is 2. Arial is used and size is 11 point.

Paragraphs must be justified. Section names are in boldface and in proper naming

format.

Project Context

Discuss the background of the organization and describe its operations,

products, and services offered.

In paragraph form, just identify and describe the three (3) actual, ‘solvable’

problems encountered by the organization or your beneficiary. In this research class,


as already told, you were not allowed to conduct survey and interviews to gather data

but you can put assumptions here. But please do not forget that this is for the

course’s requirements only. Gathering valid and true data through surveys and

interviews is a must when you are doing your own capstone project. Please be

reminded always.

Objectives of the Study

(Just put the general research problem and specific research problems. It can

be formatted like this)

The primary goal of the research was to create a Web-based Ordering

System with Point of Sale (POS) that would enable Julia's Online Shop to better

serve its consumers, advertise and enhance its merchandise, and facilitate quick

online transactions.

Purpose and Description

(Dito nilalagay ang main contribution of the project. Read the example)The

project will be conducted in order to assist the school administrators in the

preparation of classroom schedules as well as teaching loads of faculty members

every term or semester by developing software called Classroom Schedule

Generator. Once developed, the system shall automatically prepare the classroom

schedules of students and teaching loads of the faculty members.

following capabilities:

1. Assign classes, lecture or laboratory, in appropriate rooms. Hence, the

lecture classes shall not be assigned to laboratory classrooms and

laboratory classes shall not be assigned to lecture classes.

2. Maximizes room, student and faculty schedules depending on the priority

set by the users. Hence, if there is a shortage of faculty member, say,

only one teacher can handle a particular course, then the highest priority

shall be set to faculty. On the other hand, if there is only one computer

laboratory room, the highest priority shall be set to the said laboratory

room.

proposed study is a response to the challenge of bringing the rural villages out of

isolation by making the information society to be more about inclusion rather than

exclusion. Henceforth, the study will help in alleviating the digital divide in the country

if not in the whole world.

Online Shop, it will give the following significance particularly to the following:

1. Julia’s Online Shop - The study would make it easier to monitor reports

and sales for the company and increase management efficiency in

promoting products and services online to attract more clients.

2. Customers - They will be able to increase their understanding of the

efficiency of utilizing a web-based ordering platform that provides access

to any goods or services without requiring users to leave their house or

place of employment.

3. Researchers - The researchers will be able to improve their capacity to

Time and Place of the Study

(this section includes the period when the study was conducted, from the

preparation of the outline to the preparation of manuscript. The place of the study

includes the actual place where the study and data gathering were conducted tignan

ang example dito)In February 2023, a study was started on the web-based ordering
system for Julia's Online Shop - Bacoor, which is situated at Molino Boulevard in

Bacoor, Cavite. The difficulties Julia's Online Shop had in efficiently managing online

customer orders and advertising its goods and services led to the decision to carry

out the study.

The management and employees of the milk tea establishment were

interviewed in-depth to help the researchers determine the precise system needs.

These interviews yielded insightful information about the limitations and present

issues with the ordering procedure. The study commenced in the second week of

February 2023, and the researchers collaborated closely with the management and

personnel to create an effective and user-friendly web-based ordering system.

During the Design Phase, which began in the fourth week of February 2023

and will last until July 2023, the researchers concentrated on creating the system's

general architecture. After examining the requirements, the researchers will create a

thorough plan for the system's development. In this stage, a user interface design

and mock-ups of the system's functionality are created. The Developing/Coding

Phase started in March 2023 after the Design Phase. The actual coding of the

required modules and database integration were part of this step. After developing

and coding is finished, the system will go on to testing, which is scheduled to start in

July 2023. In this stage, the system's functionality, performance, and dependability

will all be thoroughly tested by the researchers.

The system will go to the Deploy Phase, which will start in December 2023

and involve deploying the system to a live environment, after the testing phase is

over. Following deployment, the system moved into the phase of review and launch,

which is scheduled to start in December 2023 as well. In this stage, the research

team examined the system's functionality, solicited user input, and made the required

modifications and enhancements in response to the input. The goal of this iterative

approach was to make sure that Julia's Online Shop's needs and expectations were

satisfied by the web-based ordering system.


Considering the phases of testing, deployment, review, and launch, the

developing/coding phase is anticipated to last until January 2024. This schedule

takes into consideration all of the testing, deployment, and improvement procedures

that were necessary for the web-based ordering system for Julia's Online Shop to be

developed and successfully launched.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

Conceptual Framework

The Conceptual framework of the study used the Input-Process-Output model

for developing the web-based ordering system with POS for Julia’s Online shop.

nyo)The Conceptual Framework is illustrated in the above figure, which also


illustrates the development process for the system. The Input Stage comprises the

following requirements: Hardware, Software, Knowledge, and Development Tools.

The Hardware Requirements of the system must have a minimum of 8GB RAM with

a CPU Architecture such as AMD Ryzen or Intel Core i5. The Software Requirements

of the system must be Windows 10 in order to support the necessary Development

tools like MySQL and Laravel in order to create the ordering system. The Knowledge

Requirements for the system involve a solid understanding of web development and

database design.

The progressive web interface framework Vue.js will be used to design the

system's front end. This development tool facilitates the building of an interface that

is easy to use. On the other hand, Laravel will be used to create the system's back

end. The goal of the open-source Laravel PHP web application framework is to

create standards for routine operations like routing, authentication, and database

connections.

The Database of the system will be developed using MySQL. MySQL is an

open-source relational database management system that is widely used for web

applications and other driven software. Because they will be able to arrange the

system's UI elements and codes utilizing the previously described software services,

the hardware and software requirements are also taken into consideration. The

process of assembling the system requirements, including requirements planning,

user designing, prototyping, testing, refinement, construction, and cut-over, was

composed for the Process Stage using the Rapid Application Development

Methodology.
