Human and Physical Resources - What's the

difference?
Introduction:

A resource is something which human society attaches value to. People see a potential benefit
from using it. Over time, anything can become a resource. Examples are oil, gold, trees, water,
computers and special skills that people may possess.

Do you know that oil was not even considered a resource

Do some research on the resources of Trinidad and Tobago. Compare this with Singapore and
one other country in the Caribbean. Compare the extent of our reliance on human or physical
resources with Singapore and other countries. What are the advantages and disadvantages of
relying on either one or the other type of resource?

A resource is something we consider precious to our society and is used to develop a country.
Both human and physical resources are indispensable to our progress and we should treat
both with value and respect so that they can continue to benefit us for a long time to come.
