Boosting Nursing Efficiency: Bridging

Gaps between Communication and
Time Management

Introduction
The importance of nursing efficiency in
providing excellent care for patients
within the dynamic health sector
cannot be overstated. Communication
and time management are two key
characteristics that significantly affect
nursing efficiency. This poster explores
their impact on each other and ways of
connecting them.

Profile Characteristic
Number 1: Communication
Efficient communication among
healthcare team members as well as
with patients is crucial for the seamless
provision of care. According to our
study, smooth and timely
communication reduces medical
errors, improves patient satisfaction,
and promotes a cooperative work
environment.

Profile Characteristic Number 2:

Time Management
Nursing relies on proper time management
skills to prioritize tasks and efficiently
allocate resources while maintaining
workflow continuity. Our research shows
that good time management can reduce
care delays, optimize the use of resources,
and avoid nurse burnout.

Conclusion:
By connecting communication with time
management in nursing practice, one can
increase efficiency synergistically. Efficient
coordination brought about by improved
communication makes it possible for nurses
to streamline duties and manage time
properly. Conversely, adequate allocation of
an appropriate amount of time for
meaningful conversation results in effective
teamwork between clinicians which also
enhances patient
