Senior Network Engineer - SWIFT

In line with policies/procedures and under instructions/control of a manager, to design and implement
installations related to the network infrastructure and additional connectivity in the operating center and
remote offices.

Education & Experience


• 3 year and/or University degree in telecommunications, electronics, or relevant field, or equivalent
work experience
• Typically has 5-7 years of relevant experience in telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyse, design, negotiate and provide budgetary input for complex installations/upgrading and
testing of telecommunications projects.
• Formulate and recommend specifications for security, service levels, overall standards and design
rules for major network systems.
• Provide regular progress reports on ongoing installations to all stakeholders.
• Resolve customer requests with moderate complexity for new and/or modified network
infrastructure.
• In liason with support areas, resolve complex network problems and develop and document technical
standards and infrastructure applications.
• Follow technological evolution in own area of responsibility and to keep management informed of
applicability and opportunities for use of new products.
• Manage the relationships with network suppliers and carrier organisations, from a technical,
contractual and strategic point of view. Participate in the contract negotiation.
• Participate in and/or lead projects of medium to large complexity.
