SEMI-DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH

I. OBJECTIVES.
At the end of the discussion, the learners should be able to:
a. identify the different kinds of emotions
b. appreciate the importance of emotions that they would feel in every
situation
c. count the feelings/emotions faces

II. SUBJECT MATTER.


a. Topic: Feelings/Emotions
b. Integration: Math (Counting feelings)
c. Strategy: Explicit Teaching, Cooperative Learning.

III. PROCEDURE.

A. Preliminary Activities.

a. Prayer
(The teacher will instruct her learners to rise for the
opening prayer.)
b. Greetings
(The teacher will greet her students good morning)
c. Checking of Attendance
(The teacher will call the names of her learners to find out
if there are student/s are not present or absent.)
d. Setting of Rules
(The teacher will set her rules during his class.)
 Listen carefully
 Sit properly
 Raise your right hand if you want to answer and for
some queries.
 Always respect your teacher and your classmates.

B. Review/Drill
(The teacher ask the children what was their topic in last
discussion)

C. Motivation
(The Childrens will watch a video presentation about different
kinds of emotions)

D. Lesson Proper
 Today we will learn about the different kinds of
emotions.

E. Discussion
(The teacher discusses the different kinds of emotions and
show a picture and the Childrens will identify that emotion and
will give an example of when they feel it.)
- Happy
- Sad
- Angry
- Hurt
- Scared

(The teacher provides example of scenario about the different


kinds of emotions and also the children’s share their ideas and
experiences about the different kinds of emotions)

F. Activity.
“Emotions Paste Me!”
(The teacher provides pictures that show different kinds of emotions in
board and give scenarios to the Childrens and they will choose the picture
which emotions they would feel in that situation)

G. Application.
(The teacher provides a printed worksheet for them to Match
the emotions)
Instruction: Draw a line to the person with emotion.

H. Generalization
(The teacher will ask a question to the Childrens)
 Why do we need to understand emotions and feelings?
 What are the different kinds of emotions?

IV. EVALUATION.
Directions: Count the faces of different emotions emoji and write your
answer in the space provided.
