Instructions
1) Define your Parameters (blue cells). Provide initial guesses for the parameter you will change in step 2 (i.e. mass flowrates)
2) Use Goal Seek to set value in Heat Balance to 0 by varying a parameter (e.g. flowrates)
Notes
Hot fluid is on the shell side, cold fluid is on the tube side
The log mean temperature difference is set up for cocurrent flow (but can be eaily modified for countercurrent flow)
